NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The City of North Myrtle Beach wants to remind residents that fireworks are not allowed within the City limits. A special permit must be granted by North Myrtle Beach City Council well in advance to use any fireworks. Any usage of fireworks without this permit from City Council would be considered a violation.
The City of North Myrtle Beach Police Dispatch handles and responds to the complaints of fireworks being illegally discharged in the City.
To report a violation this New Year’s Eve: call Police Dispatch at 843-260-5511.
Instead, attend a NYE Party in Barefoot Landing, or enjoy the ringing in of the New Year without igniting flames!
Barefoot Landing's Firework Display is the only permitted show in the City limits for New Years Eve 2025.
