NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- In anticipation of the approaching winter storm, the City of North Myrtle Beach is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety of residents, visitors, and City employees.
The City is set to transition to OPCON 2 at 7 p.m. today, Jan. 30.
CLOSURES AND EARLY DISMISSALS:
Saturday, January 31: The North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center, as well as the Park and Sports Complex will be closing at 12 p.m.
Monday, February 2: The North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center, J. Bryan Floyd Community Center, City Hall, and the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex will be closed.
The Sanitation Collection will not operate on Monday, February 2. Pick-up will resume once road conditions are clear and City Hall reopens.
The Police Department and Fire Stations will remain open to provide critical services.
