NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Parking Registration for North Myrtle Beach Residents and Non-Resident Property Owners is now open.
The City’s paid parking season begins March 1, 2026, and ends October 31, 2026.
North Myrtle Beach Residents and Non-Resident Property Owners may register online or in person at 904 2nd Avenue North (the old Santee Cooper building). The Parking Office is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Paid parking will be enforced via license plate recognition. Your vehicle license plate will be your digital permit. Vehicle parking passes must be renewed each year.
Residents – To complete your registration, you will need the following:
- Driver’s License with North Myrtle Beach Residential Address
- Current (not expired) Vehicle or Golf Cart Registration with same Residential Address
- NEW Golf Cart Registrations will be in-person at the Parking Office
- Golf Cart Registration RENEWALS will need the SCDMV Registration Number
Non-Resident Property Owners – To complete your registration, you will need the following:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current (not expired) Vehicle Registration (ANY STATE) or Golf Cart Registration (must be registered with SCDMV at their North Myrtle Beach property address)
- Proof of North Myrtle Beach Property Ownership (City Staff can locate the Horry County paid property tax receipt online at the Parking Office)
