21st Annual Irish Italian International Festival

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Get ready for one of the area’s most beloved traditions! The 21st Annual Irish Italian International Festival returns to Main Street on Saturday, September 27, from 10 AM to 4 PM in North Myrtle Beach.


This one-day, rain-or-shine celebration is filled with a variety of food, live music, shopping, and family fun. Admission and parking are free.

 

More than just a street festival, the Irish Italian International Festival showcases a blend of cultural flair with:

  • Delicious Eats – Food vendors compete for Best EntréeBest Dessert, and Best Decorated Booth.
  • Two Stages of Entertainment – Performers bring nonstop energy with live music and dancing.
  • Arts and Crafts Vendors – Unique gifts and handmade items.       

 

Entertainment Schedule:

Irish Stage (Sponsored by Flynn’s Irish Tavern) 

10 AM – The Byrne Brothers

11:30 AM – Coastal Carolina Shields Pipes and Drums

12 PM – Clovers Revenge

2 PM – Barleyjuice

 

Italian Stage (Freedom Boat Club) 

10 AM – Anthony Bucciero

12 PM – Thomas Road

1:30 PM – Spaghetti Eating Contest

2 PM – Chris Taylor and The Rumor


Spaghetti Eating Contest (Sponsored by Ledo Pizza): Festival goers can enjoy the 1:30 PM Spaghetti Eating Contest by participating or watching. It is always a crowd-pleaser!   


The first to clear their plate, without using their hands, wins bragging rights and a prize!


Individuals may sign up at the Information Booth between 10 AM and 12 PM at the Festival. There is no entry fee. Once registered, participants should arrive at the Hillside Drive Stage by 1 PM. The contest begins at 1:30 PM at the Italian Stage located at Hillside Drive (400 Main Street - in front of Hope Taylor and Company).


Free Parking:

  • 1st Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard Lot
  • 1st Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard Lot


Road Closure: Main Street will be closed from Hillside Drive to Cedar Drive from 5:30 AM - 7 PM the day of the festival.
