NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The North Myrtle Beach Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee is currently canvassing the community for projects that might be funded by Accommodations Tax monies for FY2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027).

Project ideas must be submitted in writing and received by the close of business (5:00 pm EST) on Friday, January 30th, 2026.

Ideas or projects must be directed towards: 

Advertising and Promotion of Tourism; Promotion of the Arts and Cultural Events; Construction, Maintenance and Operation of Facilities for Civic and Cultural Activities; the Criminal Justice System; Law Enforcement; Fire Protection; Solid Waste Collection and Health Facilities when required to serve tourists and tourist facilities; Public Facilities – such as restrooms, dressing rooms, parks and parking lots, tourist shuttle transportation, and control and repair of waterfront erosion.

Only organizations that are registered as non-profit entities are eligible to receive funding.
