NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Registration for the 2022 Summer Junior Lifeguard camps is open! Cost is $45. This camp is taught by North Myrtle Beach Ocean Rescue lifeguards and Beach Patrol.

Junior Lifeguards are kids ages 9-11 who love the water and want to learn how to be safer in the ocean and on the beach. During our summer camp, Junior Lifeguards will participate in fun physical challenges and will learn rescue skills that real lifeguards use every day. Junior Lifeguards also have the opportunity to shadow our highly trained ocean lifeguards on Saturdays throughout the summer so they can experience lifeguarding first hand.
Our two identical camps will run Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the first camp taking place June 14 through July 7, and the second taking place July 19 through August 11. With the exception of the CPR & First Aid training sessions, normal meeting time and place for this camp will be on the beach between Main Street and 1st Ave South in North Myrtle Beach from 8:30am-10:30am.
Families of our Junior Guards are welcome to stay and watch. Please set up chairs outside our coned off area. Further information about CPR training, shadowing, and more will be available at time of registration.
